Lack of self-control

Here it is.

Li-Fraumeni syndrome

I resisted this thought all day yesterday and today until I had it in written form on the blog. My mom asked what I was talking about. I caved in and looked it up and now I wish I hadn't. Jen's melancholy ensues... off to watch Jimmy Fallon.

  1. Dear Jen ,
My heart breaks to hear you having to deal with all this. Take your time in making your most difficult decisions. Cry as much as you must, of course you will. You are strong and right now you are looking at the whole picture. Take it slow. You will get through this one small piece at a time.It sounds so overwhelming.
You will be fine, I told you many times you are my inspiration. Your travels, your photography and your teaching a new language.
I know that is all very different, but you know once you wrap your head around it you can...
    Big hugs and kisses,
    Aunt Karen

  2. My crystal ball says you don't have "Le Flour" syndrome. What you do have is the same sense of curiosity we all share. Did the geneticist also say that you are at risk for developing extreme klutziness, indecisivesness, and a hopeless sense of style. I'm sure you inherited the best of both worlds...your father's love of food and friends...and your mother's strong will and determination. Don't peer into windows covered in ugly, heavy drapes. Instead, enjoy the light, romantic linens that blow gently into your life at this very moment. Please, stay off the Internet... unless you happen to be shopping for a "marble-like" tub. A million "rabbit" kisses:)
